What is the EU Responsible Person situation for Spanish imports?
The General Product Safety Regulation requires an EU-established economic operator for goods from outside the EU, and Spain is an EU member state so the GPSR applies in full. That appointment sits with the importer. Eco Vira supplies the technical documentation the responsible person needs to lodge the file.
Is Spanish-language labelling required?
Fibre content and care instructions must be in the language of the Member State of sale — Spanish for Spain. We apply your wording exactly as supplied.
What about packaging and extended producer responsibility?
Spain operates national packaging registers under its own implementing rules, and the obligation falls on whoever first places the packaging on the Spanish market. We supply packaging composition data and pack to your scheme’s requirements.
Is sourcing from Pakistan competitive against Spanish production?
It is a different cost structure rather than a marginal saving, and the comparison worth making is landed cost at your volume.
