Why Pakistan

Why Australia brands manufacture with Eco Vira

Eco Vira runs pattern making, fabric sourcing, cutting, printing, embroidery, sewing, inspection and packing under one roof in Lahore. One supplier stays accountable for the whole chain, so the garment that ships is the garment that was approved.

  • Cost advantages versus Australian or Chinese manufacturing.
  • English as the business language.
  • Quality construction for premium Australian market expectations.
  • Reliable shipping routes to Sydney and Melbourne.

MOQ

Minimum order quantity

30 pieces per style per colour. Australian brands typically use this to test a small drop before committing to a season, and we confirm the practical minimum once your size split and colour count are known. Payment is a deposit against the bulk run, balance against shipping documents.

Payment

How payment works

Orders run on a deposit against the bulk run, with the balance settled against original shipping documents. We will not change bank details by email alone — any change is confirmed by phone before you act on it, because that is the standard invoice-fraud pattern and a two-minute check prevents it.

Sampling

How sampling runs before you commit

  1. 01Tech pack or reference garment to begin.
  2. 02Pre-production sample produced in your chosen fabric.
  3. 03Fit and labelling approved before cutting.
  4. 04Sample retained as your reference for repeat production.

Quality control

How quality is checked

  • In-line inspection at cutting, sewing and finishing.
  • An AQL sampling check before packing.
  • Measurement check against the approved sample and size set.
  • Final inspection on packed units with photo record.
  • Shrinkage testing in Australian conditions where the fabric warrants it.

Inspection points, AQL levels and what we document are agreed in your order rather than assumed. See our quality process.

Production process

From approved sample to carton

The same sequence on every order. What changes is the specification, and the timeline is quoted per style.

  1. 01Tech pack and fabric direction received; feasibility and costing reviewed.
  2. 02Pattern graded to your AU/UK/NZ size set; pre-production sample made.
  3. 03Sample approved and fit locked.
  4. 04Fabric sourced, or supplied cloth verified against the approved swatch.
  5. 05Cutting, sewing, decoration and in-line inspection.
  6. 06Final inspection, folding and packing to Australian labelling rules.
  7. 07Documentation issued and goods dispatched.

Before you order

Questions Australia buyers ask us most

Answered directly. Where the answer is that something sits with you rather than with us, we say so.

Is country-of-origin labelling required for Australian imports?

Australian customs requires imported textiles to be marked with their country of origin, with substantial penalties for failures. We apply the marking you specify to your instruction, and the label wording is agreed at sample stage so it is correct before production.

Does fibre content labelling have to be accurate?

Yes — fibre content and care instructions must be truthful under Australian consumer law. We apply the exact wording and composition you supply, and check it against the approved fabric before cutting.

Will biosecurity inspection delay my container?

Biosecurity inspection on textile consignments is possible, and more likely where natural fibres or plant-based packaging are involved than with synthetic goods. We declare contents accurately and completely so clearance is not held up by a description mismatch.

What is realistic on production and transit?

Production is quoted per style. Sea freight to Australian east-coast ports is the economic route for volume; air freight trades cost for speed. We quote both so you can choose on landed cost against cash cycle.

Do you supply AU/NZ sizing?

Yes — AU, UK, US and EU size sets are all graded from your measurement chart, including extended and child sizes.

Communication

Working across the time difference

Pakistan is UTC+5 — two hours behind most of Australia. Your morning is our late morning.

Australian and New Zealand buyers often prefer an early-morning AEST call. That is our afternoon, so it works without either side moving their day.

  • Email with a named contact
  • WhatsApp for quick questions
  • Video call for fit review
